Review a target's details page

Open one target on its own page to see its status history, recent data, progress chart, notes and media, and delete a photo or video.

Applies toBCBAOrg Owner

Every target in a plan has its own page in the web app. It brings together everything recorded about the target across all sessions: how its status changed, the latest data, a progress chart over its whole life, target notes, and photos and videos. The same page holds the target's settings, such as generalization, maintenance and tethers, which have their own guides.

Before you start

  • BCBAs and org owners can open this page. Aides see target notes and media only inside a session.
  • The plan must be Active. On a plan that is On Hold or Completed, target names are not links, and a link from a notification shows an error instead of the page.
  • If your clinic's subscription is suspended, the web app sends you to the billing page instead.

Open the page

  1. Open the treatment plan and its Goals tab.
  2. Select the target's name.

You can also land here from a notification about a regression. Back to plan returns you to the Goals tab with the target highlighted.

The header shows the target's name with its type, its status and Library target or Custom target. Overview lists the learner, the plan, the goal, and Mastery met with yes or no.

Read the status history

Status & transitions shows the Current Status with Change status. Under Status history, each entry shows the old and new status, who changed it, the reason and the date, 20 at a time with Load More.

A waiting suggestion or a target that met its mastery criteria shows a message above the history: see Review an automatic status suggestion. To change the status, see Change goal and target status.

Review the data and the progress chart

Recent collected data lists the records, newest first, 20 at a time with Load More. A tag next to the heading shows where they come from:

  • Clinic session: the data aides and BCBAs collected in sessions, including sessions still in progress. Generalization and maintenance runs are marked with their phase, and scored runs show whether they passed.
  • Parent / home: when the goal is assigned for home practice, the list shows what parents logged at home instead. The clinic sessions' data is then not listed here; it still feeds the chart below.

Select a record to see its details, such as each trial, each step or each occurrence with its time.

Progress charts the target over its whole life. For most types it is a timeline you can zoom, with the status phases, the teaching data, each generalization context and the maintenance probes. Task analysis targets get a chart of their steps, from submitted and completed sessions only. Generic targets show No trend chart for Generic targets.

Review notes and media

Target notes lists the notes from every session, newest first, 20 at a time. Each note shows the author's role, the date and Edited if it was changed.

Media shows every photo and video recorded for the target. Select one to open it with its comments. Comments are read-only here; you add them from the session.

To delete a photo or video, select the bin on its tile and confirm with Delete. The message Photo deleted. or Video deleted. appears. There is no undo.

What happens next

  • Reading the page changes nothing. Only deleting a photo or video changes data.
  • If one section fails to load, it shows an error with Retry and the rest of the page stays usable.
  • A photo or video that cannot be loaded is left out of the grid without a message.
  • Selecting another target from the page, such as a tethered one, reloads the whole page for that target.
