Register a new clinic

Registering creates two things at once: your clinic's organization in ABACare and your own account as its org owner. You fill in one form in the web app, then confirm your email address from the message ABACare sends you. Your clinic starts on the free plan, and you can invite your team and add learners as soon as you are signed in.

Before you start

• You register in the web app. The mobile app has no sign-up.
• Use an email address that no ABACare account uses yet, in any clinic.
• Decide on your clinic's language first: you cannot change it in the app later. Once anyone at your clinic signs in, the web and mobile apps show in the clinic's language; the language selector on the sign-in pages changes only those pages. ABACare also uses the clinic's language for what it writes for your clinic, such as authorization reminder emails, AI session notes, progress reports and printed worksheets. Account emails, such as this confirmation and staff invitations, are always in English.

Fill in the registration form

1. On the ABACare website, select Start Free. On the web sign-in page, the Create organization link under Don't have an account? opens the same form.
2. To read the form in another language, use the selector at the top right. It changes this page only.
3. Fill in Organization Name.
4. Under Language, pick English, Español or Romanian. This is your clinic's language, and it starts on English whatever language the page is in.
5. Fill in First Name, Last Name and Email.
6. Type a Password of at least 8 characters. The hint under the field asks for an uppercase letter, a lowercase letter, a number and a special character. Registration only checks the length, but a password reset later needs all of them, so pick one that already meets the hint.
7. Select Create Organization.

A field left empty shows a message such as Organization name is required, and nothing is sent.

When the form is accepted, the message Registration successful! Please check your email to confirm your account. appears, the form empties and the button is disabled. You are not signed in yet.

If registration fails

The message appears in red above the button, and the form keeps what you typed.

• Too many attempts. Please wait a moment and try again. means there were five tries in the last hour from your network, failed ones included. Wait, then try once more.
• Any other message is in English. Email already exists in the system means that address already has an ABACare account. Other messages point to the email address or to a password under 8 characters.

Confirm your email address

1. Open the email Confirm your ABACare account. It is in English, whatever language you picked. If it is not in your inbox, check your spam folder.
2. Select Confirm Email Address, or paste the link from the email into your browser. The link works once, within 48 hours.

The page shows Account Confirmed! and, after a moment, opens your dashboard. You are signed in, and the app is now in your clinic's language.

If the page shows Confirmation Failed with Token expired or invalid, the link was already used or is too old. If you confirmed before, sign in on the sign-in page. Until you confirm, signing in shows Unauthorized access.

What happens next

• A welcome window lists the settings worth checking before therapy data comes in: see Complete the first-run setup.
• Your clinic is on the free plan, which limits how many staff and learners it can have. Change the subscription plan shows what your plan includes.
• Invite your BCBAs and aides, then add your learners.
• If the email never arrives or the link expired before you used it, registering again with the same address is refused. Write to ABACare through Contact on the ABACare website.
